100+ Reading Challenge January Update

As of today (31/01/2011) I have completed 7 books for the 100+ reading challenge. Unfortunately, I don't have a book review for this month (I blame the exams!), but I will (try to) review two books in February. Hopefully, I won't leave both reviews until the end of the month (but I am a procrastinator at heart) =)

Only 93 more books to go! Check out what I have read already, by clicking here =)

(27/02/11) edit: I give up on reviews! Alongside the ridiculous coursework deadlines (all one after the other), keeping up with the lectures and reading papers, it's getting to the point where can't fit in time to write a full review...Sorry! =(

I love the maxi dress that Rihanna is wearing. It's a gorgeous silk maxi dress by Diane von Furstenberg with a retail value of about £600! A (much) cheaper alternative is the Miso chiffon maxi dress from Republic (which seems to have disappeared off the website). Any pale-ish coloured maxi dress will do, plain or patterned, depending on your preference =) A contrasting colour like teal makes a great statement piece and I've included this with the drape cardigan, which is an easy way to cover up the arms and shoulders. A leopard print scarf for a hijab, like this one from Dorothy Perkins adds another dimension with the funky pattern (there's nothing wrong with mixing up patterns and colours!). This is a look suited for the Summer time, when the sun is shining and it's a lot warmer so I'd add a pair of flat gladiator sandals and a few bangles to make the outfit complete.

TGIF:Freedom!

Yay! This is definately a TGIF post. Exams are over and done with, so now it's time to relax (until the results arrive!). But before then, I will be catching up with reading (for fun, not the Psychology textbooks) and enjoying a peaceful weekend. Back to Uni on Tuesday though, so I'll definately have to prepare for the new semester, which has units including Biological, Social and Cognitive Psychology, as well as the ever present Research Methods (incase you didn't know, I hate statistics).

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

Quick Update!

Two exams done...two more to go! Just letting you know I haven't randomly disappeared, it's just a whole lot of last minute revision (which obviously isn't ideal!). Should be back to blogging this time next week =)

Enjoy your weekend!

Ooops! Please excuse the lack of posts at the moment. It's currently time for January Exams, which means plenty of revision and practise questions. Also, I seem to have chosen this very unfortunate time to start scrapbooking (again). Let's hope I can actually complete this one! (two unfinished/abandoned scrapbooks shows proof of my short attention span!)  =)

Until my exams are over (or my next post), have a great January =D
