Dua for the last 10 nights of Ramadhan

I received this dua in a text message, but did not have any sources to cite. Alhamdulillah, sister Sanaa Nubiansis posted the very same dua on her blog a few days ago, complete with sources which I am now sharing with you. Therefore I credit this blog post to sister Sanaa Nubiansis and recommend you check out her blog (dropsofnubia).

A'ishah (radhia Allahu anha) reported that she asked Allah's Messenger (sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam), "O Messenger of Allah! If I knew which night is Laylat ul-Qadr, what should I say during it?" And he instructed her to say:
"Allahumma innaka `afuwwun tuhibbul `afwa fa`fu `annee" - O Allah! You are forgiving, and you love forgiveness. So forgive me.

[Recorded by Ahmad, Ibn Majah, and at-Tirmithi. Verified to be authentic by Al-Albani]

'We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power:
And what will explain to thee what the night of power is?
The Night of Power is better than a thousand months.
Therein come down the angels and the Spirit by Allah's permission, on every errand:
Peace!...This until the rise of morn!'
—Sura 97 (Al-Qadr), āyāt 1-5

May these last 10 nights of Ramadhan be the most blessed and inshaAllah may us gain the rewards of performing dhikr during the last 10 days of Ramadhan. Ameen.
